Originally an assembly plant for The Ford Motor Company and home to the first vertically-integrated assembly line, the building at 640 Memorial Drive has been owned and occupied by innovative companies and institutions – Ford, Polaroid, MIT – throughout its rich history. On the eve of its 100th Anniversary, the newly renovated 640 Memorial Drive is poised to host the next big discovery. The recent renovation supplied the building with robust new mechanical systems, state-of-the-art workspaces, and features designed to improve energy and water use and efficiency. The project has achieved LEED Gold certification.
