As the Director of Social Media for the Committee to Elect Oscar Camargo, I developed and implemented outreach activities.
As one of the leaders for a grass-roots campaign for an unknown first-time candidate, I not only strategized, developed and monitored a broad on-line presence through websites, blogs, and social media, but also organized and implemented volunteer activities that included community outreach, literature distribution, and campaign advocacy.

North Andover Patch
I became a liaison between Oscar and the Hispanic community in Lawrence, MA. As the son of Latin American immigrants, I empathized with the challenges faced by this underrepresented community and was their passionate advocate in the campaign. I walked through these neighborhoods to clearly explain Oscar’s policies in Spanish, answer questions, and persuade voters to meet him.
Speaking in both English and Spanish, I introduced Oscar to many naturalized immigrants, like Celine Gil, who provided their unique perspective on the challenges they face in their community. We sympathized with them on a human level as we shared our own family backgrounds and visions of the American Dream.
Seth Moulton for U.S. Congress
The Camargo campaign team provided invaluable support for Seth Moulton in his successful election to become U.S. Representative for Massachusetts’s 6th congressional district.
Congressman Moulton currently serves on the following Congressional Committees:
The U.S. House Committee on the Budget, commonly known as the House Budget Committee, is responsible for legislative oversight of the federal budget process, reviewing all bills and resolutions on the budget, and monitoring agencies and programs funded outside of the budgetary process.
The U.S. House Committee on Armed Services, commonly known as the House Armed Services Committee, is responsible for funding and oversight of the Department of Defense (DOD) and the United States armed forces, as well as substantial portions of the Department of Energy.
The U.S. House Committee on Small Business, commonly known as the House Small Business Committee, is responsible for assessing and investigating the problems of small businesses and examining the impact of general business practices and trends on small businesses. The committee has oversight and legislative authority over the Small Business Administration (SBA) and its programs, as well as provides assistance to and protection of small businesses, including financial aid and the participation of small business enterprises in federal procurement and government contracts.
